Please read your invoice once received. It will detail the process for providing information for shipping firearms.
We do not accept C&R licenses day of auction. You must contact us Prior to day of auction to discuss.
There is a one time transfer fee of $20 for any firearm requiring transfer paperwork that is handled in-house day of sale. There is no transfer fee between FFLs.
Buyer's Premium is 15% - In House bidders have a BP of 13%
Sales tax is 5.3%. Sales tax is not applied to items shipped out of state.
If bidding online you will receive two invoices. One for the cost of items won and payments will be processed by Tuesday following the auction. You will receive a second invoice later in the week with shipping costs and we will process a second payment just for the shipping costs.
All property is sold 'AS IS WHERE IS', and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Auctions by Wallace may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Auctions by Wallace be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
We accept bids both live and online. We also process absentee bids and phone bids.
Individual lots may have their own terms associated with that lot. Meaning, we may not offer shipping at all for a specific lot and your must pick up that item.
You must have firearms won in auction inspected by a gunsmith prior to firing. You must be aware of your own states laws and what is accepted in your state. i.e. California will not accept certain firearms.
Auctions by Wallace reserves the right to add additional processing fees if payment is not received in a timely fashion. Typically between $5 to $20. We also reserve the right to charge up to a 20% restocking fee for items that are not paid for and returned to the seller.
SPECIAL REQUESTS- We will work with you to honor special requests if they are reasonable and feasible. Additionally, requests must be made in a timely fashion .
Auctions by Wallace is providing Internet pre-auction as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctions by Wallace or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Auctions by Wallace will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the pre-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Auctions by Wallace reserves the right to withdraw items in this auction.
VA sales tax will be applied to all purchases. VA state sales tax at our business location is 5.3%. If you are tax exempt we must be notified and receive your tax exempt paperwork either prior to or immediately after the close of the auction. This can either be delivered to us by hand or sent via email. We do not accept faxes. Once received and reviewed you will receive confirmation that we have your information. If you do not receive confirmation from us it is because we do not have your information. If we have processed your payment with taxes it is because we did not receive your documentation in a timely fashion. We WILL NOT refund sales tax for any reason.
Local Buyer's can pick up their items at a mutually convienent time over the next week. Please call 757-871-4360 to make arrangements. We are here virtually every day - all day and into the evening.
Shipping Information:
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Only firearms will be packed and shipped in-house.
Buyer will need to make all arrangements if something is to be sent freight and items must be removed within one week.
All other items requiring shipping will be delivered to our local UPS store for packing and shipping. Items will be taken to them by Wednesday. They will contact you directly for shipping and handling costs. We can not provide them with your credit card information. We do this as an additional service. There is no need to make shipping arrangements. There is no charge for this service.
Firearms will be shipped to the FFL of your choice. We will only accept FFL information via email. More details will be provided on this process with your invoice.
