Sales tax is 5.3%. Sales tax is not applied to items shipped out of state.
There is a 15% buyer's premium.
All property is sold 'AS IS WHERE IS', and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Auctions by Wallace may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Auctions by Wallace be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
This is an Online Only Auction . Bidding will automatically be extended if a bid is placed in the last two minuites prior to a lot closing.
Auctions by Wallace reserves the right to add additional processing fees if payment is not received in a timely fashion. Typically between $5 to $20. We also reserve the right to charge up to a 20% restocking fee for items that are not paid for and returned to the seller. We also reserve the right to charge a removal fee if you do not pick up and remove all items in a lot that you won.
Auctions by Wallace also reserves the right to remove items from the auction. While this is typically a rare occurance it is done on behalf of the seller, or something is broken, or grossly misdescribed.
SPECIAL REQUESTS- We will work with you to honor special requests if they are reasonable and feasible. Additionally, requests must be made in a timely fashion .
Auctions by Wallace is providing Internet pre-auction as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctions by Wallace or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Auctions by Wallace will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the pre-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Auctions by Wallace reserves the right to withdraw items in this auction.
VA sales tax will be applied to all purchases. VA state sales tax at our business location is 5.3%. If you are tax exempt we must be notified and receive your tax exempt paperwork either prior to or immediately after the close of the auction. This can either be delivered to us by hand or sent via email. We do not accept faxes. Once received and reviewed you will receive confirmation that we have your information. If you do not receive confirmation from us it is because we do not have your information. If we have processed your payment with taxes it is because we did not receive your documentation in a timely fashion. We WILL NOT refund sales tax for any reason.
Local Buyer's to our Auction House: If you win small items we will bring them back to our Auction House and you can pick up their items at a mutually convienent time over the next week. Please call 757-871-4360 to make arrangements. We will not bring back furniture and bulk lots unless agreed upon ahead of time (there is only so much room in the van). We are here virtually every day - all day and into the evening for pick-up.

Items are automatically combined for shipping. We work to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
If you win a small item that can be easily packed in a flat rate box we will pack and ship your items in-house. We typically add a small fee of $2 to $5 per box for handling. If your item is not small and easily packed we will take it to our local UPS store for packing and shipping. We will take your items to UPS at no cost as part of our service. They will contact you directly for shipping costs.
Any package shipped by Auctions by Wallace over $200 will be shipped USPS with a signature required.
